Meet The Founder

New York City born- Ideal Surreal Arrangements creator Felicia Huguley, developed a love for flowers while working as a porter at a prestigious venue in Manhattan that hosted daily upscale galas, banquets, cocktail parties, fashion shows and other formal celebratory gatherings.

Often taking home left behind floral arrangements at the end of her nights, she soon realized how much joy these beautiful and elaborately designed flowers brought her. She also found that this immense feeling of happiness was short-lived as the arrangements only lasted a few days before slowly dying off. After several failed attempts to extend the life of several floral arrangements, she came to terms with the fact that she wasn't very good at caring for fresh flowers. Subsequently she began to search for artificial flower arrangements, hoping that they would remind her of the fresh flower arrangements she'd acquired in the past but none of them did. Having a particular sense of taste and dissatisfied with the inauthentic feel of mass-produced artificial flower arrangements, she vowed to arrange her own.
Although she had no formal experience or training in the floral world, she possessed a profound passion for all things appealing to the eye and a keen sense of design and coordination. After submerging herself for several months in research, tutorials, product trials and errors and intense hobbying, she launched the faux floral company, Ideal Surreal Arrangements. Inspired by countless HGTV network television shows, crafty YouTubers and the fond memories of fresh flowers from her past, she hopes to reverse the negative connotation behind artificial flowers by creating unique, whimsical arrangements embodying timeless and undeniable wow-factors.
